Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What does the Deluxe Camp Set for Model Y include?
A: This is our ultimate Tesla Model Y camping bundle. It includes: a custom-fit premium memory foam mattress, a cotton satin fitted sheet, a cotton duvet, 2 pillows with pillowcases, a complete 12-piece privacy sun shade set for every window, and 2 waterproof frunk storage bags. Everything for the perfect Tesla camping experience.
Q: Can I use the Model 3 Deluxe Set in my Model Y?
A: Almost. The mattress, its carrying case, the fitted sheet, the duvet and the pillows are the same for both cars. The sun shade set and the two frunk storage bags are model-specific: the Model Y shade set has 12 pieces including the rear window (Model 3: 11), and the Model Y frunk bags are larger and taller. Make sure to order the version for your car.
Q: How does the Deluxe Set compare to the Basic Set?
A: The Basic Camp Set gives you the essential bedding (mattress, 1 bag, sheet, duvet, pillows). The Deluxe adds the complete 12-piece privacy sun shade set and 2 waterproof frunk storage bags for the bedding and pillows. The sun shades are especially valuable for blocking light through the Model Y's large glass roof and providing privacy at campsites.
Q: Do the sun shades cover the Model Y's glass roof?
A: Yes! The 12-piece set includes panels for every window including the Model Y's expansive panoramic glass roof. This is crucial for sleeping comfort, as the glass roof lets in a lot of light and heat. With the shades installed, the interior becomes dark and insulated.
Q: How quickly can I set everything up?
A: With practice, the complete setup takes about 5 minutes. Fold down the rear seats, roll out the mattress, add the sheet and duvet, install the 12 sun shade pieces, and activate Camp Mode. The process becomes faster each time you do it.
Q: Where do I store everything when I'm not camping?
A: The mattress travels in its own carrying case in the sub-trunk well under the rear trunk floor. The 2 waterproof storage bags are shaped to nest perfectly in your Model Y's frunk: the 2 pillows, the fitted sheet, and the duvet even fit in a single bag, leaving the second one free for other gear. The sun shades fold flat and stack compactly. That keeps the mattress and bedding out of your main trunk.
Q: Is shipping free?
A: Free shipping on orders over €449 across the EU. All products ship from our European warehouse with delivery in 3-7 business days.
